I get sick of going to the same bars and clubs, its always the same old places over and over. As much as i like them, its Newcastle, there are so many other places to go.

We went to Venue on a Saturday night last week, which hosts Krash. It is a rock night, which is not my thing at all. I like some classic tunes like anyone else, but apart from that….

It was actually not bad. They did play some classic tunes, club bangers, and the crowd was alright. The drinks are pretty cheap for a club, and since it is open until 03.30 you can party (or drink in our case) the night away. Entry fee is only £4 which is not bad going, the nearest rival to this place is probably World Headquaters which is double the entry price. It mainly attracts students, probably due to the price and music on offer.

You can get cheap shots, Jagerbombs, cheap bottles and other drinks, so even if you dont like the music you can chill and drink until you cant drink anymore.

It is not a place i would go to every week, but it does make a change. They have various nights on, and i would give their Latin/Spanish night a go if it is still on.
