Bannatyne bar used to be amazing! We went all the time, every weekend, it was the place to be for a good while. It played Old Skool pop and newer chart music, it was a fun bar but managed to attract the more upmarket crowd at the same time making it unique. It has a dancefloor, a good bar, spaces to sit, space to stand, a good crowd, it has everything you would want for a bar.

It was so busy it used to be a nightmare to get served, but it was worth the wait, there were never queues, it had just the right level of ‘busy’.

However this was 18 months – 2 years ago. I have been in since those good times, and since around the end of 2007 the place has gone so downhill its unbelievable. No idea why, but nobody seems to go anymore. The past few times i have been in  it has not looked good for the place.

MR Bannatyne, if i showed you this bar on Dragons Den, i’m sure you would say “I’m out”. Maybe you should “sort it out” instead.

MR Bannatyne is a business man, so if this bar is loosing huge amounts of money which it could be, i cant see him keeping it for much longer.
